Why Attend?
This event is a chance to meet professional’s from different career’s and let them help you by providing knowledge that you could use to help choose your passion and to help make the right choice when choosing a major for university. It will provide you with an insight on the skills you need to succeed in your career.
Who will you be meeting?
Professional’s from different industries and companies around Bahrain. Including Zain Telecommunications and Bapco.
How does it work?
It will be a career speed networking event. Student’s will be given their own time sheet, in which they will go around to the different professionals and choose the available timing for their own 5 minute slots.
Every 5 minutes, there will be a bell that rings, so that the next student can take the next turn.
Questions to ask the professional’s
- What did you study at university?
- How did you choose the major you wanted to pursue to reach your current job?
- How did you start your career after graduation?
- What do you do in the job on a day-to-day basis?
- What subjects should I be good at in order to do well in field? (Math etc)
- Do you think if I pursued this MAJOR, would there be a need for it in the market once I graduate?
